DAY 1: Transfer to Bwindi.
- On the first day of 3 days Uganda Gorilla trekking tour. Depending on where you are in Kampala City, your guide will pick you up, give you a tour briefing, and then drive you to the park for your three days of gorilla trekking. About 9 to 10 hours are needed to go from Kampala to the park. Along the way you will make a stopover in Kayabwe, where you will pose at the equator and participate in exciting experiments that demonstrate being halfway between the northern and southern hemispheres and you will take pictures stunning pictures and the equator. After the fascinating encounter, you will continue your journey to the Bwindi Impenetrable National Parks, which is home to the Uganda mountain gorillas.
- You will make a second stopover in Mbarara at Igongo Cultural Centre for the lunch enroute where you will be served with organic and tasty food including the cultural delicacies like millet bread, some dishes locally prepared with handmade ghee (eshabwe) that is quite an adventure to taste the real cuisine, the cultural centre is a magnificent traditional facility where you can view the development of Ugandan culture, including its use of money, dress codes, and other attractions. The facility features a museum that will display the various households of the people from western Uganda. After lunch you will proceed with your journey through Ntungamo, Kabale that offers you the stunning views of the beautiful landscape. And once you get to the park, you will check into your lodge for evening relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 2: Gorilla Trekking.
- On the second day of 3 days Uganda Gorilla trekking tour. Visitors will wake up early in the morning and set out on their adventure to complete the gorilla trekking excursion after an early breakfast and packed lunch. You will move to the park headquarters with your safari guide for the briefing about the rules and regulations to do during gorilla trekking. After the briefing you will be grouped into various groups of 6 people per group with the presence of well experienced guide to the jungle to look for the mountain gorillas, the activity takes a period of 30 minutes to 6 hours regarding to the location of the gorillas. As these creatures keep on moving deep in the jungles to look for food. After spotting the gorillas you will spend an hour with the gorillas after finding them and making contact with them. During this time, you can take them pictures, see how they interact with one another, and record their videos.
- After spending an hour with the gorillas, you will continue on your optional Batwa trail tour, where you will meet the fascinating Batwa, a community of forest dwellers that depend on the products of the forest to survive. These people are primarily hunters who gather fruit for meals and hunt little living things in the forest. It will be unforgettable to interact with an interesting group of people. As an alternative, you can go on nature hikes around the park's various routes, where you'll see a variety of sights like the peaks of the Virunga Mountains, countless bird species, and primate species. After you will travel to your lodge for dinner and the overnight stay.
DAY 3: Transfer back to Kampala
- On the third day of 3 days Uganda Gorilla trekking tour. Wake up early in the morning and take a leisurely breakfast. After a leisurely breakfast in the morning, you will check out of your accommodation and start the journey back to Kampala. Lunch will be provided while you go through Mbarara town on your way back to Kampala. After you will proceed with your journey until Kampala and your safari driver will drop you at your place of convenience either at the airport for your next flight or at your hotel
