OVERVIEW
The 9 Days Uganda Wildlife & Primates tour gives you a chance to do game drives, go on a boat cruise in Murchison Falls National Park in the northwest of Uganda, track white rhinos in Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, which is the only place in Uganda where you can see them, and track chimpanzees in Kibale Forest National Park in the west of Uganda, which is known as a primate destination. You can also go on game drives and watch birds in Queen Elizabeth National Park.

DAY 1: Arrive at Entebbe Uganda.
- On the first day of 9 days Uganda wildlife and primates tour. When you get to Entebbe Airport, our professional driver guide from Munda Africa Adventure will be there to meet you and tell you about the safari. After he will transfer you to your booked lodge in Entebbe or Kampala capital city a city of seven hills. When you get to the hotel, check in and take a nap. Dinner and a night's stay.
DAY 2: Travel to Murchison Falls National Park - Ziwa Rhino Track.
- On the second day of 9 days Uganda wildlife and primates tour. You'll wake up to the smell of coffee or tea and tasty snacks. After you check out, you'll be driven to Murchison Falls National Park along the Bombo–Gulu highway, with a stop at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, which is where rhinos live in Uganda, so you can see them. When you get there, you'll go tracking on foot, which can take 1 or 2 hours depending on where they are. Then drive to Masindi town and stop for lunch on the way. After that, you can drive straight to the park and take a boat to get to the border of Murchison. There, you'll meet some interesting baboons. Check in at the lodge and then go to the cultural encounter to see the lively dancers from Mubako perform around the campfire at the lodge. Dinner and Overnight stay.
DAY 3: Game Drive & Boat Cruise
- On the third day of 9 days Uganda wildlife and primates tour. After morning coffee and tea, you will drive to the park with an armed range guide around the Buligi game tracks on the northern bank. There, you will be able to see a variety of wildlife, such as herds of elephants, Jackson's Hartebeest, Uganda Kob, Hyenas, giraffes, Waterbucks, Buffaloes, leopards, Oribis, Hippos, rare shoe bills, and other animals. Drive back to the lodge, where you can relax and eat lunch.
- After lunch, go on an afternoon boat cruise on the Victoria Nile. You'll be able to see hippos, birds, and the Devil's cauldron, which is a great place to take pictures and see great sights. After you get off the boat and hike up to the top of the falls to get a great picture of the water falling, your driver will pick you up and take you back to the lodge. Dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 4: Travel to Kibale Forest National park.
- On the fourth day of 9 days Uganda wildlife and primates tour. To get to Kibale Forest National Park, you'll check out after a delicious breakfast and drive to Kibale using the Hoima route. Along the way, you'll see homesteads and beautiful scenery, and you'll stop for lunch in Fort Portal. Go to the park. When you get there, check in at the camp. Dinner and staying the night.
DAY 5: Chimpanzee Trekking & Bigodi Swamp Visit.
- On the fifth day of 9 days Uganda wildlife and primates tour. Wake up, eat breakfast meet your safari guide, and be driven to the park's offices for a briefing on the rules and regulations to follow during chimpanzee trekking. After you meet the guide, you will go to the forest trail head with a group of six other people to look for chimpanzees. This can take anywhere from 30 minutes to 5 hours. As you trek, there is a chance you will see other kinds of monkeys and birds. Once you find the chimps, you'll have an hour with these great apes to learn about them and photography them, record their movies. After chimpanzee trekking you will get back to the lodge for lunch and some rest.
- Visit to Bigodi Swamp after lunch: You will go to Bigodi Swamp to see birds and animals. After you will go back to the lodge for dinner and Overnight stay.
DAY 6: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth national Park - Evening Game Drive.
- On the sixth day of 9 days Uganda wildlife and primates tour. When you wake up, you'll have breakfast, then check out of the lodge and drive to Queen Elizabeth national park. Arrive in time for lunch, eat it, and relax at the lodge while you wait for the afternoon game drive.
- Later, you'll drive to Ishasha area, where you can see tree-climbing lions waiting for their food by hanging from fig tree branches. You'll also see "antelopes" and other animals like the buffaloes, Uganda kobs, elephants and various bird species like the cattle egrets, raptors, marabou stork and among others. Drive back for Dinner and Overnight stay.
DAY 7: Morning game drive & Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable national Park.
- On the seventh day of 9 days Uganda wildlife and primates tour. Wake up have breakfast and check out of the lodge. Then, drive to Kasenyi Plains, which is part of Queen Elizabeth National Park. This is the best place to see a lot of animals, like elephant groups, buffalo, warthogs, antelopes, waterbucks, and many others, since the park is home to 95 different wild species. After that, you'll drive out of the park and go through Ishasha area to get to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, where you can see great things like tree-climbing lions and take photos to remember. You will get to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in the evening, check into the lodge and rest while getting ready for tomorrow's activities. Dinner and Overnight stay.
DAY 8: Gorilla Trekking.
- On the eighth day of 9 days Uganda wildlife and primates tour. After an early morning heavy breakfast. Your driver will transfer you to the briefing point and after meet the ranger in the group of 8people to locate you to the gorilla family you’re met to trek but ensure that pack your rain jacket, packed lunch, rubber boots .You will start hiking through trails to get to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, where you have a good chance of seeing birds, monkeys, and green plants, among other things. Gorilla trekking takes 30 minutes to 6 hours as these creatures keep on moving deep in the forests to look for food. When you find the family you're looking for, you'll have an hour to be in their presence, take pictures. After the gorilla trekking, go back to the starting point to get the gorilla trekking certificates for participating in the activity. After you will be taken back to our lodge for dinner, evening relaxation and overnight stay.
DAY 9: Departure.
- On the ninth day of 9 days Uganda wildlife and primates tour. Wake up on lazily have tasty breakfast and check out of the lodge. Stop at the Igongo Culture Centre on the way back to Kampala to learn about the amazing past of the Ankole culture, which is one of Uganda's cultures and enjoy organic lunch from there. Drive to Kayabwe at the Equator for water experience, a stop at a craft shop to buy souvenirs. After keep driving to Kampala, where you will be dropped off at your hotel or at Entebbe Airport for your flight home.
