OVERVIEW
This 4 day double gorilla safari from Kigali is designed for clients who would like to track gorillas twice spending four hours on each trek and those have tight schedule and time to travel for fewer hours since the trip starts and ends from Kigali with just 4-5 hours drive each way.
TOUR SUMMARY
- Day 1: Pickup from Kigali City/Airport and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
- Day 2: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
- Day 3: Second optional Gorilla trek or Gorilla habituation experience or forest walk in Bwindi
- Day 4: Drive back to Kigali International Airport for your flight out
- You’ll visit Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park

DAY 1: Pick up from Kigali/Lodge to start your 4 day double Gorilla Safari from Kigali
- You will be picked from the airport/guest house by our guide and transferred to Bwindi National Park to start your 4 day Bwindi gorilla safari. You will cross over to Uganda via the Kyanika/Katuna border for a stopover .The journey will enable you to view the kigezi hills characterized by the rolling hills and beautiful valleys. You will then proceed to Bwindi National Park for an overnight.

DAY 2: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
- After an early morning breakfast, you will leave the lodge with your packed lunch and head to the park for briefing. You will then be briefed on the Dos and don’ts and be allocated the group you will track .please note that tracking can be tiresome and strenuous so you need to inform your guide about your level of fitness. You will then proceed to track with your guide that will provide you with any information you may want to know. You will be allowed to do photography but not exceeding an hour. You will proceed back to the headquarters to get your gorilla tracking certificate. Then head back to the lodge for your overnight.

DAY 3: Second Optional Trek or Gorilla Habituation
- This day, you may choose to go for a second optional gorilla trek in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. After breakfast and with your packed lunch, you will walk to the park headquarters for briefing about gorilla tracking then head into the park for the trek, optionally there is Gorilla Habituation Experience that you could take up spending more time with the Gorillas which gives you up to 4 hours with them. You can also choose from other activities like trail walks, the batwa community experience where you will be able to interact with the local community.
DAY 4: Transfer to Kigali to end your tour
- After breakfast, our guide will transfer you back to Kigali for your international flight out marking the end of your 4 day double gorilla tracking safari.
