DAY 1: Arrival and Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
- On your first day of 3 days Rwanda Gorilla Safari. Our driver-guide will pick you up from the airport or your hotel for your 3-Day Rwanda Gorilla Safari and give you a briefing about the safari. After being briefed on the Safari, you will be transferred to Volcanoes National Park with the enroute lunch after you proceed with your journey while viewing the stunning landscape of the thousand hills until you reach the park. On your arrival check into the lodge and unwind as you await your dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 2: Gorilla Trekking experience in Volcanoes National Park.
- On your second day of 3 days Rwanda Gorilla Safari. Wake up early in the morning and be served with breakfast. After an early morning breakfast at the lodge, one of the most exhilarating tourist activities in Volcanoes National Park awaits. Your safari driver will take you at the park headquarters with your packed lunch, you will be briefed on the numerous rules and regulations to follow during gorilla tracking in Volcanoes National Park. You will then be divided into eight groups and assigned a gorilla family to trek with. Depending on the location of the allotted gorilla family and the terrain, gorilla tracking in Volcanoes National Park can last from 30 minutes to six hours or longer. When you encounter mountain gorillas, you are required to spend one hour with them. You will then return to the starting site of the gorilla tracking activity to get your gorilla tracking certificates. Your driver-guide will be waiting to return you to the lodge. Relax for the remainder of the afternoon, or engage in a cultural activity. The lodge provides dinner and overnight stay after your cultural tour.
DAY 3: Departure
- On your third day of 3 days Rwanda Gorilla Safari. You will awaken to a lavish breakfast at the lodge, which you will savour at your leisure. After checkout, you will be transferred back to Kigali and dropped off at the airport for your outbound flight.
