DAY 1: Transfer to Bwindi home of Uganda Gorillas
- On day one of the 4 days Bwindi Gorilla Trekking Safari, you will be picked up from your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe by our driver guide who will brief you on our 4 Days Bwindi gorilla trekking safari. After the briefing, we go to the western region of Uganda where Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is located. It may take you nine hours to get there from Kampala, but it will be worth it once you see the Pearl of Africa. Along the way you will have a stopover in Kayabwe at the equator to take the pictures and to enjoy breakfast. After embark on your journey and make another stopover for lunch in Mbarara at Igongo cultural centre to taste the organic meals. From Mbarara you will proceed the journey until Bwindi with the magnificent views of beautiful hills in Ntungamo, Kabale until Bwindi. Upon your arrival you will check into your lodge for dinner, evening relaxation and overnight stay.
DAY 2: Gorilla trekking–Bwindi.
- On the second day of 4 days Bwindi Gorilla Trekking Safari, get up early in the morning and enjoy a leisurely breakfast before travelling to the park's administrative centre with your packed lunch in order to participate in the highlight of our four-day Bwindi gorilla trekking safari gorilla trekking. Gorilla trekking adventure begins with a briefing by the ranger guides, after which you'll be divided into groups of eight before beginning your trip through the forest. Depending on the gorillas' movements, Bwindi gorilla trekking can last anywhere from thirty minutes to six hours.
- Once you locate them, you will have an hour to observe and photograph these kind primates. After walk back to the park headquarters to pick the gorilla trekking certificates for participating in gorilla trekking. After returning to the lodge, you can rest or partake in extra activities like birding or a neighborhood walk. Then later return to the lodge to enjoy dinner, evening relaxation and overnight stay.
DAY 3: Full day Lake Bunyonyi.
- On the third day of 4 days Bwindi Gorilla Trekking Safari. Wake up early in the morning and take a delicious breakfast, meet your safari driver and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi that is between Kisoro and Kabale is where the lake is. With a depth between 44 and 900 metres and a width of between 7 to 25 km, this lake is the second-deepest in Africa. Our drive is more picturesque as we pass through the rolling hills of the Kigesi Highlands, which is known as the Switzerland of Africa. We link to our lodge for lunch after reaching Lake Bunyonyi and enjoying the beautiful surrounding hills in the distance. After lunch, we take a boat ride or paddle a canoe to see the main islands, the local area, and to see the sunset while on the sea. You will enjoy learning about the fascinating history of the lake's islands. After the full day Lake Bunyonyi return to the lodge for dinner, evening relaxation and overnight stay.
DAY 4: Transfer back to Entebbe and Departure
- On the fourth day of 4 days Bwindi Gorilla Trekking Safari. You will eat breakfast before departing on your return trip to Kampala with a stop in Mbarara town for lunch as our four-day Bwindi gorilla trekking safari draws to a close. Continue to Kampala and arrive there in the afternoon. Drop off at your Kampala hotel or the Entebbe airport in preparation for your next trip.
