OVERVIEW

6 days Uganda and Rwanda safari will ensure you have a wonderful experience during your safaris by taking part in a number of activities like golden monkey trekking in volcanoes national park. Additionally, you will get to travel to Uganda, where you will visit Queen Elizabeth National Park, which is home to four of the country's big five animals, and Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, where you will go gorilla trekking to make the most of your six-days Uganda and Rwanda safari.

DAY 1: Arrival and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park.

• On day one of your 6 days Uganda and Rwanda safari, upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be met by your safari guide, a representative of our tour company, who will welcome you to the pearl of Africa, Uganda, and give you a briefing session of your 6 days Rwanda and Uganda safari. This briefing will include the rules and regulations to follow for a safe safari in the countries, as well as suggestions for making the most of your safari experience there. After the briefing you will travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Along the way in Kayabwe you will also pose for photos at the equator and participate in experiments of the north and south hemispheres.
• And then you will stop again for lunch in Mbarara town at the Igongo cultural centre on the way to the park. There, you will sample various organic cultural dishes like millet bread, Eshabwe, and dishes made with locally made ghee, which is quite an adventure to taste the authentic dishes. After lunch, go to Fort Portal Town to see the Amabere Ganyinamwiru caverns. After your tour to the caverns, continue on to Queen Elizabeth National Park. When you arrive at the park, you will go on an enroute evening game drive where you will have the opportunity to see a variety of animals catching their last bites of the day in the plains as they prepare to go to their resting place. Animals like zebras, elephants, elands, antelopes, crocodiles, and leopards, lions, and hyenas can be seen sunbathing. After you will return to your lodge for dinner and the overnight stay after the game drive.

DAY 2: Early morning game drive and Evening boat cruise.

• On the second day of your 6-day Uganda and Rwanda safari, you'll will get up early in the morning and take a hearty breakfast. After breakfast meet your driver safari and go on a morning game drive where you can see a variety of early risers grazing in the plains, including antelopes, buffaloes, elands, and impalas, among other animal species. After that, you'll move on to the Ishasha sector for the ultimate lion tracking experience, where you'll get to view the park's captivating tree climbing lions, who are quite different from other lions in the globe. According to legend, lions use trees to observe potential prey like kobs. After the thrilling experience, you will return to your lodge for lunch and some downtime before the evening boat tour.
• After a lovely lunch, you will proceed to an afternoon boat cruise along the Kazinga channel, which will give you a broad view of the surrounding area and a chance to see many water birds, including the pelicans, hamerkops, African fish eagle, African Jacana, kingfishers, great cormorants, little grebes, northern lapwings, red-necked grebes, and wandering albatross pied. Among other animals, sunbathing and drinking can be seen like the elephants, waterbucks, buffalos, and other creatures, you will sight the large schools of hippopotamuses, crocodiles in the water. After the boat cruise you will return to your lodge to relax and prepare for the following day after the lovely excursion. Before going for the overnight stay you can also have an optional activity as to take photos at the equator and participate in experiments of the north and south hemispheres.

DAY 3: Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable National park.

• On the third day of your 6-day Uganda and Rwanda safari, you will wake up early in the morning and take a hearty breakfast, then check out from your lodge and meet your safari guide to travel to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, which is home to habituated Uganda gorilla families, with the enroute morning drive through the Ishasha sector, where you will have the opportunity to see the tree-climbing lions up close. Continue to Bwindi, stopping for lunch en route, and arrive at the lodge in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

DAY 4: Gorilla trekking.

• On the fourth day of your 6-day Uganda and Rwanda safari, visitors will leave for their journey to do gorilla trekking activity after an early breakfast and packed lunch. You will meet with your safari guide to take you to the park headquarters for the briefing about the rules and regulations to do during gorilla trekking. After the briefing you will be grouped into 8 members per group with the presence of knowledgeable park ranger and takes to the jungle to look for the mountain gorillas. And this takes anything from thirty minutes to six hours. However, with the aid of the ranger, it will be simple to find the gentle giants. You will spend an hour with the gorillas after finding them and making contact with them. During this time, you can photograph them, see how they interact with one another, and take photos of them.
• After spending an hour with the gorillas, you will go back to your starting point to get the certificates for taking part in gorilla trekking experience. And have an optional activity to start your Batwa trail tour, where you will meet the fascinating Batwa, a community of forest dwellers that depend on the products of the forest to exist. These people are primarily hunters who gather fruit for meals and hunt little living things in the forest. The interaction with the fascinating collection of people will provide unforgettable moments. As an alternative, you can go on nature hikes around the park's various routes, where you'll see a variety of sights like the peaks of the Virunga Mountains, countless bird species, and primate species. After a long day your safari guide will take you back to your lodge for dinner and the overnight stay.

DAY 5: Transfer to Volcanoes National park.

• On the fifth day of your 6-day Uganda and Rwanda safari, you will wake up early in the morning and be served with delicious breakfast. After breakfast check out from your lodge and meet your safari guide and travel from Bwindi Impenetrable National Park to Ruhengeri, the location of Volcanoes National Park with the stunning views along the way. Upon your arrival, check into your lodge for lunch and after you can take part in community walks in the evening, where you'll have fantastic experiences learning about the local communities' cultures through traditional dancing and dishes made by the residents while they're amused. You will return to your hotel in the evening for dinner and to spend the night.

DAY 6: Golden Monkey trekking

• On day 6 of your 6-day Uganda and Rwanda safari, your guide will pick you up from your lodge after an early-morning breakfast, check out and drive you to Volcanoes National Park so you can take part in the activity, which will help you learn more about the primate species. Once you arrive at the park, you will be driven to the park headquarters for a briefing about the rules and regulations to take during golden monkey trekking, where you will meet the Rwandan guide for the golden monkey trekking. And experience the jungle to look for the golden monkeys, the activity takes a period of thirty minutes to four hours. In addition to seeing a variety of primate and bird species while golden monkey trekking. Once the golden monkeys are spotted you will be given a period of one hour in their presence as you will also learn more about the park's habituated golden monkey troop's behavior, watching them climbing trees and have the opportunity to take pictures of the primates at the conclusion of your excursion.
• After golden monkey trekking, transfer to Kigali, and take lunch then proceed and then do Kigali city tour. This is where you are going to visit various sites like Kimironko market, which is the largest market in Rwanda, Kigali genocide memorial museum can also be visited during the Kigali city tour, which will take you to a number of genocide site. Your 6-day safari in Uganda and Rwanda will come to an end after your city tour of Kigali when your safari guide will drop you to your convenient place either at Kigali International Airport or in Kigali city.
