For a combined wildlife watching and chimpanzee trekking adventure in Uganda's largest safari park, reserve takes you to this 4-day Murchison Falls safari. The trip brings you to Uganda's largest national park, which is home to a wide variety of animals.

TOUR SUMMARY

• Day 1: Pick up and transfer for Murchison Falls National Park.

DAY 1: Pick up and transfer for Murchison Falls National Park.

• On your first day of the 4 Days Murchison Falls National Park Safari. Your driver guide will meet you either at your hotel or Entebbe International Airport and brief you about the 4 days Murchison Falls National Park. And be transported to Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda's largest national park. The great four game elephants, buffaloes, lions, and leopards all have habitats in the park. However, along the way you will have the enroute lunch in Masandi town and again you will have a brief halt in the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for two to three hours in order to go rhino tracking. After rhino tracking you will, travel to the location of the spectacular falls, which will take a further two hours. Connect and check into your lodge when you get there in the late afternoon to unwind, have dinner, and spend the night.

DAY 2: Game drive and lunch cruise at the bottom of the falls.

• On your second day of the 4 Days Murchison Falls National Park Safari. Wake up early in the morning and you will go for a morning game drive on the park's Northern Bank after an early breakfast at the lodge. A variety of species the early raisers will be spotted, including elephants, Rothschild giraffes, buffaloes, lions, Hartebeest, Uganda kobs, oribis, and waterbucks, can be seen throughout the roughly three to five-hour excursion. You will return to the lodge for lunch after the morning game drive.
• Take a launch boat on the Nile with an exhilarating panoramic view of the base of the impressive Murchison Falls after lunch. You will see crocodiles, hippos, and birds like kingfishers, cormorants, and bee-eaters along the river banks while you cruise.
• After viewing the falls from the bottom, you can choose to hike up to the top of the falls via Baker's Trail and stand at Baker's Stone, which will bring you closer to the falls' base. Although this hike is challenging, you will enjoy seeing the falls from various angles, and once you reach the top of the falls, you will be amazed and eventually forget about the challenging hike. You'll meet your driver after and be taken back to your lodge after having fun at the top of the falls for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.

DAY 3: Chimpanzee tracking in Budongo Forest.

• On your third day of the 4 Days Murchison Falls National Park Safari. After an early breakfast on this day, you undertake chimpanzee tracking in the Budongo forest's Kaniyo Ecotourism Site for the briefing about rules and regulations to follow during chimpanzee trekking. The largest mahogany forest in East Africa and home to roughly 80 habituated chimpanzees. You will arrive very early in order to begin the forest walk in search of the chimpanzees. You will also enjoy the sight and sound of birds. Depending on their mobility, you will spend anywhere between two and four hours searching. Once you've located them, you'll spend an hour with them, keeping an eye on them as they eat, sleep, and play. After the activity you will be taken back to your lodge for the relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 4: Return to Kampala.

• On your fourth day of the 4 Days Murchison Falls National Park Safari. Wake up early in the morning and be served with a hearty breakfast. If you miss the trek to the top of the falls after breakfast, you will drive there before continuing on your way back to Kampala. After enjoying yourself at the top of the falls, leave the park, making a stop in Masindi for lunch before continuing to Kampala or Entebbe for your ensuing nighttime flight. After arriving in Kampala your safari driver will drop you at any place of your convenience either at the airport or at your hotel.
