DAY 1: Transfer to Nyungwe Forest National Park.

• On the first day of 3 days Nyungwe Chimpanzee trekking safari. Our Rwanda safari guide will pick you up in Kigali, depending on your location either at the hotel or at Kigali International Airport. Your guide will introduce you to the safari and provide you with an overview of the 3-Day Chimpanzee Trekking Safari in Nyungwe. You will be transferred to Nyungwe Forest National Park while travelling through Rwanda's rolling hills with lunch enroute. The six-to-seven-hour journey from Kigali to Nyungwe Forest National Park passes through picturesque communities. Once you have arrived at the park, you will proceed to the lodge, check in and relax while you wait for dinner and your overnight stay.

DAY 2: Chimpanzee trekking, Isumo Trail.

• On the second day of 3 days Nyungwe Chimpanzee trekking safari. Get up early in the morning and get served with breakfast. After a scrumptious breakfast at the lodge, you will meet with your safari guide and take you at the park headquarters to be briefed about the rules and regulations to follow while carrying out chimpanzee trekking in Nyungwe Forest National Park with your packed lunch. You will then depart on an expedition to trek chimpanzees. This chimpanzee trekking excursion can take between thirty minutes to five hours, with only one hour with the chimpanzees upon encounter while watching them groom, playing, taking their pictures and recording videos and among others. The Isumo trail will connect you to the greatest waterfalls in Nyungwe Forest National Park. You will observe numerous avian species. Afterward, you must return to the lodge for optional safari activity like guided nature walks to observe the biodiversity within the destination and among others. Later you will get back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

DAY 3: Canopy Walk, Departure.

• On the final day of your three-day Nyungwe chimpanzee trekking safari, enjoy a sumptuous breakfast at your lodge. Meet with your safari guide and proceed for a canopy walk experience on a 50-meter-long canopy walk suspension bridge suspended above a large tree. Views of Nyungwe Forest National Park are breathtaking. With a bird's-eye view, you will be able to see incredible wildlife traversing the park below you. After leaving the park, you will be transferred back to Kigali and dropped off at your hotel or the airport for your departure flight.
