15 Days Best of Uganda & Rwanda Safari tour package takes you where the savannah meets the rainforest. In the open savannah grassland, you might see the "big five" animals: lions, leopards, buffalo, elephants, and rhinoceroses. You might also see giraffes, hippos, waterbucks, Kobs, warthogs, and up to 16 species of primates, such as great mountain gorillas and chimpanzees. This trip takes you to the best national parks in Uganda and Rwanda. In Uganda, you'll visit Murchison Falls National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Kibale Forest National Park, Lake Bunyonyi, and Volcanoes National Park. Uganda is where the trip starts, and Rwanda is where it ends.

DAY 1: Arrival Day.

• On the first day of 15 Days Best of Uganda & Rwanda Safari. When you arrive at Entebbe Airport in Uganda, a representative from our company will meet you and brief you about the safari. He will then take you to the hotel you booked in Kampala City, where you can enjoy the beauty of the "city of seven hills.” Check in for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 2: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park.

• On the second day of 15 Days Best of Uganda & Rwanda Safari. Wake up early and have breakfast at the hotel. Our driver-guide will pick you up and take you to Murchison Falls National Park using Gulu highway. On the way, we will stop at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to track rhinos. This is the only place in Uganda where you can see white rhinos. After tracking, you'll go to Masindi town for a lunch. After lunch, you'll drive to Murchison Falls National Park, which is full of animals like elephants, buffalo, hippos, lions, crocodiles, waterbucks, Jackson hartebeest, and leopards if you're lucky. The main tourist attraction in this park is the Nile and its powerful waterfall, which falls 60 metres through a narrow gorge. When you get to Murchison, you'll have to take a ferry before you can enter the park and go to your lodge, for dinner, evening relaxation and overnight stay.

DAY 3: Morning Game Drive and Boat Cruise.

• On the third day of 15 Days Best of Uganda & Rwanda Safari. You'll wake up, have breakfast, and then drive to the northern part of the park, which is the best place to see the "big four" animals (the rhinos aren't there) you will be able to see leopards, lions, elephants, buffaloes, and other animal species Uganda kobs, elands and among others and various bird species. After the morning game drive go back to the lodge for lunch.
• In the afternoon, you'll take a boat ride on the Nile River to see the Devil's Cauldron and other water species. After you climb to the bottom of the falls and see where the Nile River squeezes through a 7-meter-wide gorge to make the world's strongest water flow and the famous rainbow, you can take pictures to remember the trip. And go back to your lodge for dinner and Overnight stay.

DAY 4: Nature walk.

• On the fourth day of 15 Days Best of Uganda & Rwanda Safari. Wake up early in the morning and take breakfast. After breakfast in the morning, drive to Budongo forest for a guided nature walk. There, you'll see Mahogany trees and other types of trees, as well as primates like monkeys and chimps. The forest's green beauty is also worth seeing. After lunch you can have the optional activity chimpanzee trekking in Budongo forest where you are going to spend the wonderful creatures in the forest. After go back to your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.

DAY 5: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park.

• On the fifth day of 15 Days Best of Uganda & Rwanda Safari. Wake up early in the morning and take breakfast. After breakfast, drive to Kibale Forest national park, which is a jungle full of primate species, including chimpanzees, baboons, white and black monkeys, red colobus, grey cheeked mangabey, and L’Hoest’s monkey. This is the same forest where you can go on a night walk and see animals that only come out at night, such as bush babies. You will have your lunch in Fort Portal Town, which is a beautiful place with a cool temperature. Then go to the park and check in at the lodge when you get there. Dinner and Overnight stay.

DAY 6: Chimpanzee trekking – Kibale Forest.

• On the sixth day of 15 Days Best of Uganda & Rwanda Safari. You'll get up early and have breakfast. Then, your safari guide will drive you to the park's headquarters for the briefing about the rules for chimpanzee trekking. After the briefing, you will be grouped into the group of six people and will go to Kibale forest with a ranger guide to look for chimps this takes a period of 30 minutes to 5 hours. Trekking will give you the chance to see other small apes like monkeys and birds. Once chimpanzees are found, you'll be able to spend an hour with them and learn about how they live. You can take pictures with a digital camera, but you can't use a flash disc. After you will go back to the lodge for lunch.
• Later after lunch, you'll go on a swamp walk along Bigodi Wetland, which is a great place to see birds and primates. You'll also go to the crater lakes. After you will go back to the lodge for dinner and Overnight stay.

DAY 7: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park.

• On the seventh day of 15 Days Best of Uganda & Rwanda Safari. Wake up early in the morning and take breakfast. After breakfast in the morning check out from your lodge and meet your safari guide and you, we'll be driven along the Kasese path to Queen Elizabeth National Park, where we'll stop to take pictures at the equator. Then you'll get to the park of unique tree-climbing lions, which is one of the best places in Uganda to see lions and a lot of other wild animals. Upon your arrival in the lodge, check in have Lunch and relax.
• After lunch later, you will go on an evening game drive in the Kasenyi plains to see animals like Warthogs, bushbucks, elephants, Uganda kobs and various bird species and after return back to the lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.

DAY 8: Morning game drive and Boat cruise on the Kazinga channel.

• On the eighth day of 15 Days Best of Uganda & Rwanda Safari. You'll get up early, eat breakfast, and then drive back to the park to see more animals you missed in the evening. Drive back to the lodge and have lunch and a rest.
• After lunch, you'll go on a boat cruise on Kazinga channel, which connects Lake Edward and Lake George. There are a lot of hippos, crocodiles in this area, so you can expect to see them and sighting various bird species. After go back to your lodge for dinner and Overnight stay.

DAY 9: Another Day of Exploration – Queen Elizabeth National Park.

• On the ninth day of 15 Days Best of Uganda & Rwanda Safari. Wake up and have breakfast, after breakfast meet your safari guide. Then, drive to Ishasha sector in the south of the park to look for tree-climbing lions, which are a rare and unique species. You will also various animal species topis, which are rare in other parks during the full day you will have the picnic lunch in the middle of wilderness. You will also go to Maramangambo Forest. There are a lot of interesting things to see in the forest, such as bat caves, monkeys, interesting bird species, and beautiful scenery. After the full day in the park you will go back to the lodge for dinner, relaxation, and overnight stay.

DAY 10: Ishasha & Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

• On the tenth day of 15 Days Best of Uganda & Rwanda Safari. Wake up early in the morning and have breakfast. After breakfast, checkout from your lodge and meet your safari guide and you will leave Queen Elizabeth National Park through Ishasha. As you drive, we'll see views of the mountains that will take your breath away. Half of the mountain gorillas left in the world live in the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Arrive at the park in time for lunch, and spend the rest of the day at the lodge relaxing and getting ready for the next day's activities. Dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.

DAY 11: Gorilla Trekking - Bwindi.

• On the eleventh day of 15 Days Best of Uganda & Rwanda Safari. Wake up early in the morning and take breakfast. After breakfast in the morning, your driver will take you to the park headquarters with your lunch box to get a briefing on the rules for gorilla trekking. After a briefing, you and your guide will go to the forest trail heads to look for one of the world's great apes that takes 30 minutes and 6 hours. Once you find the gorillas, you'll have an hour to spend with our closest cousins, who are thought to share 98% of our DNA. Take pictures with them to remember them in the future, record the videos. And go back to your lodge for dinner and Overnight stay.

DAY 12: From Bwindi & Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi.

• On the twelfth day of 15 Days Best of Uganda & Rwanda Safari. Wake up early in the morning and take a hearty breakfast, check out from your lodge and meet your safari guide and you will drive to Lake Bunyonyi, which is known as "Home to Little Birds" and is the largest and most beautiful lake in Uganda. You'll get there in time for lunch, which you will enjoy, and then go canoeing. You'll be able to see a lot of beautiful birds on the lake's islands. Other possible activities include visiting the local community, going on a birding walk, or going on a nature walk. After you will check in your lodge for dinner and Overnight stay.

DAY 13: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park.

• On the thirteenth day of 15 Days Best of Uganda & Rwanda Safari. Wake up, have breakfast at the lodge and checkout your lodge, and leave for Volcanoes National Park, which is part of the Virunga Mountains, which are in Uganda, Rwanda, and Congo. Mountain Gorillas can only be seen in Volcanoes National Park and Bwindi. Along the way, you will see the impressive landscapes in Rwanda with the lunch enroute and after head to the park, upon your arrival check into your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.

DAY 14: Volcanoes National Park –Nature walk, visit Dian Fossey’s grave.

• On the fourth day of 15 Days Best of Uganda & Rwanda Safari. Wake up early in the morning and take breakfast. After breakfast in the morning meet your safari guide and, go to the park's headquarters with your packed lunch to learn about the rules and regulations for golden monkey trekking. Then, a park ranger will lead you through the jungle to see golden monkeys after finding the golden monkey you will spend with one hour in the presence of golden monkeys while watching them climb trees, play, feed and many others. After one hour you can also visit the grave of Dian Fossey, take a nature walk in the park, see the twin lakes (Lake Ruhondo and Lake Burera), or do gorilla trekking safari. After the whole day in Volcanoes National Park. Go back to lodge for dinner and Overnight stay.

DAY 15: Depart for Kigali City tour

• On the fifteenth day of 15 Days Best of Uganda & Rwanda Safari. Wake up early in the morning and take breakfast. After breakfast in the morning, you'll drive to Kigali for Kigali city tour. Expect to see Kigali memorial site, Kimironko market, museums and a lot more. Have lunch. Later, go to the Kigali Airport to catch your flight or be dropped at any convenient place for you in Kigali.
