OVERVIEW

This is a safari that you simply must take since it will leave you with a lifetime of experiences, including the opportunity to interact with locals while shopping for fresh produce like oranges, mangos, pineapples, maize, and extremely yellow bananas. You will go to the district of Luwero, where you may stay for a while before continuing on to the district of Masindi, but not before participating in the mandatory rhino trekking at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, where you will witness rhinos grazing close by. After arriving at Murchison Falls National Park, you will first climb to the top of the falls to get a better view and to take some selfies while enjoying the beauty and the wind blowing in all directions. This will leave an eternal mark on your mind. Once you've hiked the falls, take the ferry across to your favorite lodge in the Murchison Falls National Park, where you can see the wildlife.

DAY 1: Kampala to Murchison falls national park.

• On the first day of 4 days Murchison falls safari. Your safari guide will welcome you and pick you from either at the hotel or at Entebbe International Airport and give you a briefing about 4 days Murchison falls safari. You will embark on your way to Murchison falls national park that takes 4 to 5 hours with the gorgeous views along the way where you will have an enroute lunch in Masindi and then proceed to ziwa rhino sanctuary to explore and encounter with rhinos where you are going to feel the joy in the presence of rhinos. Later proceed with your journey to Murchison falls national park, upon your arrival you will check into your lodge for evening relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 2: Morning game drive and afternoon game drive.

• On the second day of 4 days Murchison falls safari. Get up early in the morning and enjoy the hearty breakfast. Meet with your safari guide and go for the spectacular morning drive Falls National Park, where you can see the magnificent animal species in real time, which are the leopards, lions, giraffes, elephants, buffalos and various bird species. There are also more creatures accessible, including Uganda cobs, antelopes, warthogs, and maybe baboons and monkeys.
• After a leisurely 3 to 4-hours game drive, you must have seen all of the park's attractions, enjoyed the drive, and may be feeling hungry and exhausted. The guide will drive you back to the lodge, and you will be served with lunch, and have evening relaxation.
• Your tour guide will pick you up after lunch to take you to the waiting boat ride. This is yet another breathtaking Murchison Falls cruise, where you can unwind and enjoy the scenery as you observe wildlife like hippopotamuses, shoebills, elephants, and buffaloes on the banks of the water shores. You can walk to the top of the falls and then be taken up from there, depending on the arrangement you make with your guide; it is a serious experience, but you must undoubtedly be energetic. You will be taken back to the lodge to rest while you wait for dinner, overnight stay after the activities done in the day.

DAY 3: Chimpanzee trekking – Budongo Forest.

• On the third day of 4 days Murchison falls safari. Get up early in the morning and get breakfast. After your breakfast with packed lunch have been served, your guide will pick you up to travel to Budongo Forest. Once there, you will go to the Uganda Wildlife Authority's offices to report for briefing about the chimpanzee trekking about the rules and regulations to follow, after you will be placed in your grouping and receive a chimpanzee ranger who will serve as your guide there. After arriving in the forest you will appreciate the presence of bird species, animal species, plant species in the forest, the activity takes a period of 30 minutes to 4 hours depending on location of the chimpanzees, and once found you are allowed a maximum of one hour with the chimpanzees. As you watch the chimpanzees feed, play, grooming themselves, taking their pictures and many more. Then, you return to the starting location, where your driver or guide will be waiting for you. To take you to the lodge, you can have an optional activity like the cultural tour, and later embark to your lodge for dinner, evening relaxation and overnight stay.

DAY 4: Travel back to Kampala

• On the third day of 4 days Murchison falls safari. Early in the morning, breakfast will be provided and then check out. Have a brief game drive, and then continue to your ferry crossing. After crossing, if you did not undertake rhino tracking the previous day, you may have to do so before continuing to Kampala. Along the way you will have a stopover either in Masindi town or Luwero town on the route to Kampala. You will let your guide know once you arrive in Kampala whether you want to be dropped off at the airport or in the city. If time permits, you can even take a tour of Kampala.
