OVERVIEW
The 8-day Uganda Gorilla safari can be done by those interested in gorillas, game, chimpanzees and lake cruises. While on 8-day Uganda safari one will be able to Visit Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park, Kibale Forest National Park and Lake Bunyonyi. You will be able to do gorilla tracking, Game drives and boat cruises, chimpanzee tracking
TOUR SUMMARY
- Day 1: Pick up from the Airport/Hotel and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
- Day 2: Gorilla trekking and optional activity around the park
- Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
- Day 4: Morning game drive and boat cruise on Kazinga channel
- Day 5: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park
- Day 6: Chimpanzee tracking and Bigodi wetland walk
- Day 7: Drive to Lake Bunyonyi
- Day 8: Boat ride on Lake Bunyonyi and later drive back to Kigali to end the trip.
- Activities: 2 times gorilla tracking experiences.
- You will visit Uganda through Rwanda
- The 8 day Uganda safari through Kigali starts and ends in Kigali
- You will visit Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park, Kibale Forest National Park, Lake Bunyonyi.
- You will do Gorilla Tracking, game drives and boat cruises, Chimpanzee tracking, Bigodi wetland walk and other optional activities around the park.
- Pre and post accommodation can be arranged at an extra cost.
DAY 1: Pick up from Airport/Hotel in Kigali and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National park.
- You will meet your guide at the Hotel/Airport and drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National park. You will stop at the Genocide memorial and later for lunch before proceeding to Bwindi. The drive is very scenic and you will have more stops for photography and viewing.

DAY 2: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
- After an early breakfast, you will drive to the park headquarters for briefing about the gorilla trek. You will then be allocated a gorilla family with other visitors to make a group of 8 people the maximum number for viewing a gorilla family per day. You will then start the trek in the forest until you find the Gorillas and you will be allowed to view and take photographs for one hour and after you return to receive your certificates and head to the lodge for relaxation.

DAY 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
- After breakfast you will drive to Queen Elizabeth National park for an evening game drive in search of late grazers before heading to the lodge for check in. you will be able to view wildlife like Buffalos, Elephants, Kobs, and others but nature dictates.

DAY 4: Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise on Kazinga channel.
- Early morning you will start you game drive in Kasenyi and you will have chances of viewing buffalos, Elephants, Kobs, birds, among others. You will later return to the lodge for lunch and then drive to the Jetty to start you cruise on Kazinga channel. You will be able to spot aquatic animals and other wildlife

DAY 5: Morning game drive and transfer to Kibale National Park
- After breakfast you will bid farewell to the lodge and have a short game drive as you leave the park and you drive to Kibale National Park. You will stop for lunch in Fort portal and later proceed to the lodge.

DAY 6: Chimpanzee tracking and Bigodi wetland walk
- After breakfast you will drive to the park headquarters for briefing before you start your chimpanzee trek. You guide will brief you the do’s and don’ts about the trek and after you start you trek. You will have chances of viewing other primates like monkeys, baboons, birds, reptiles. You will be allowed to view and take photography for one hour and after you return.

DAY 7: Drive to Lake Bunyonyi for Relation
- After breakfast, you will drive to Lake Bunyonyi in the south of Uganda for relaxation. You can opt to have community visits and nature walks around the lake as it is very experiential.

DAY 8: Morning boat ride and Transfer back to Kigali to end the 8 day Uganda safari through Kigali.
- In the morning you will have a boat ride on Lake Bunyonyi up to the punishment island and you will be able to visit communities that stay on Islands. You will later return to the lodge and bid farewell and you return back to Kigali for drop off at the Hotel/Kigali international Airport to end your 8 day Uganda safari through Kigali.
